As one of Norway’s biggest pop artists, Julie Bergan has over 1.5 billion streams across all platforms from a catalog that includes two domestic #1 singles and her 2 x platinum debut album "Turn On The Lights".

Julie Bergan is known for being hugely talented and very dedicated, professional and hardworking. She has worked hard and achieved a lot as an artist and songwriter. She has been held up as a role model for strong women, and for young artists who want control over all aspects of their career. But at heart she is and will simply always be a music lover.

Music makes me feel so alive! When I sing and dance I feel a joy, energy and a community that makes me fall in love with the music again and again, she explains.

In February, we got to see two more new sides of Julie Bergan when she released the Eurodance banger "Kiss Me Better", a song where she both stood out as a Eurodance fan and for the first time was credited as a producer in collaboration with Jesper Borgen and Albin Clern.

The Eurodance genre was central when I discovered music for real, and we all know that there is something very special about the first love. It’s been great inspiration for my new music, and the fact that more and more people are discovering it is so motivating. And I have to admit that I get a kick out of comments about how well the song is produced since I was able to adorn myself with the title of producer for the first time.

Julie is the type who gets energy from using energy; she likes to recharge with a vigorous dance or training session. And so it is with the music too. The more productive she is, the more inspired and creative she becomes. Now also with an extra gear since mastering production is a self-reinforcing virtuous circle.

There are certainly many who believe that a producer must be able to handle all the technical aspects, at least I did at the start. But as I have learned more, gained the right vocabulary to explain what I mean, I really enjoy developing myself as a producer. It may sound a bit pompous to talk about a "musical vision", but that's the way it is. You hear all or parts of a song inside and then it's a matter of getting it out so that others can also hear it.

Make Eurodance Great Again is Julie Bergan’s slogan for this 2024 and she is taking it with her into 2025 with new music dropping on both sides of the new year.

Julie Bergan started her career in 2012 with the song "Supernova" and made an impression as a teenager. She gained greater international attention with the single "Arigato" by topping the charts in Norway and Sweden, and her career really took off in 2018 together with Alan Walker and K-391 with the global smash "Ignite". When she returned to the number one spot in Norway, her success gave her the opportunity to tour all over the world - from a huge Coachella set to EDC Japan. In recent years, she has collaborated with, among others, Seeb, R3HAb, Benjamin Ingrosso and David Guetta/Ty Dolla $ign.
