A performer who wears her heart on her sleeve, 25 year old Julie Bergan has proven herself to be one of the most fiery live acts in Norway. With her energetic persona, powerful vocals, and explosive performance style, she effortlessly blasts your expectations into outer space. Bergan struck a multi-year deal with Warner Music Norway straight after finishing high school and has worked hard since then to reach her goals. So far the radiant star has amassed over 320 million streams on Spotify, with several of her tracks reaching platinum status. In February 2018, she released her 2x platinum debut album Turn On The Lights.

Bergan has performed all over the world, including support shows for Justin Bieber, Dua Lipa and Alan Walker. She has performed the 100m global collab-smash Ignite at world stages like Coachella and EDC Japan with Alan Walker. Julie has been nominated for Spellemann (Norwegian Grammy) for «Song of the year», won «Breakthrough artist of the year» from the Norwegian songwriting association for Arigato, headlined multiple Norwegian festivals, and toured Norway to sold out venues with both the «Arigato Tour» and the «It’s LIT Tour - Part 1 and 2».

Bio

Julie Bergan, a creative and talented songwriter and dedicated artist, has already managed to achieve more than 100 million streams in her career. Doors began opening for real when she released her smash hit ”All hours” October 2015, followed by ”I Kinda Like It”, February 2016. The success continued and she reached an impressive peak later in 2016, when she climbed all the way to the top of the Norwegian charts with the #1 banger ”Arigato”.

Bergan has during 2016 gone both gold and platinum (several times), charmed the Nordic audience with performances on Danish X-factor, as well as Norwegian Idol with Tinie Tempah. In addition she has been touring Europe at sold out venues with hit machine Jess Glynne, supported Justin Bieber on both his shows in Norway and Spain as well as playing a bunch of concerts and festivals with her live band. She also got nominated in the categories 'Song of the Year' with Arigato and 'Best New Artist' for the Norwegian music award, P3 gull. The opponents were some of Norway’s most popular artists. She also did an extraordinary live performance of 'Arigato' during the award show.

Bergan kicks off 2017 with releasing her brand new single “Blackout” on January 13th and with a nomination for “Song of the year” for “Arigato’ at the Norwegian Grammy Awards, Spellemann, a show taking place in Oslo on Jan 28th where she will be performing both songs. With her powerful and diverse voice, combined with a unique and playful stage presence filled with energy, Julie Bergan has managed to put herself at the center of the Norwegian music scene.
